Nevada National Merit Semifinalists 2024 Results. Semifinalists are selected based on their scores on the psat/nmsqt, taken during their junior year of high school. We’ve compiled the national merit semifinalist state cutoffs based on the most recent data from the fall of 2021.

The nationwide pool of more than 16,000 semifinalists includes the highest scoring entrants in each state. Announcements about other program honors, such as finalist standing, are left to the discretion of each high school.
